Charitable purpose - Go Inspire UK

Gender inequality and discrimination is detrimental to individuals, communities and the advancement of our society as a whole. We work to collectively empower women with the support, skills and resources to thrive and to challenge and break down the prejudice we face. 

  1. To advance education and promote individual and collective knowledge by: 
    1. Running accessible workshops and events.
    2. Creating an extensive media platform. 
    3. Conducting and commissioning research on equality and diversity issues and publishing the results to the public.
    4. Collaborating with other women’s charities to provide appropriate resources and support where required. 
    5. Increasing, or co-ordinating, opportunities for women to engage with service providers and to enable those providers to adapt services to better meet the needs of that community.

 

  1. To advance health and mental wellbeing by: 
    1. Creating extensive resource hubs to connect women with readily available dedicated support and assistance.
    2. Running events, festivals, and workshops dedicated to empowering women with the skills to advance their own health and wellbeing.

 

  1. To advance community development by: 
    1. Creating safe spaces and community hubs for women for recreation and leisure time occupation with the objective of improving the conditions of life for the local residents.
    2. Supporting the development and expansion of these spaces via franchising of further hubs throughout the UK.
    3. Promoting activities to foster understanding between people from diverse backgrounds. 
    4. To promote social inclusion for the public benefit by preventing women from becoming socially excluded and ensuring access to all GoInspire’s education, support and resources regardless of  race, age, infirmity or disablement, financial hardship or social and economic circumstances. 
    5. Providing a local network group that encourages and enables women to participate more effectively with the wider community.

 

  1. To advance human rights, equality and diversity by: 
    1. Creating a media platform to provide educational information which promotes the elimination of discrimination on the grounds of gender, race, disability, sexual orientation or religion.  
    2. Bringing together women from different backgrounds and communities.
    3. Creating opportunities for women to work together.
    4. Creating safe spaces without distinction of sexual orientation, race, political or religious opinions.
    5. Promoting knowledge and mutual understanding between different racial groups whilst advancing education and raising awareness about different racial groups to promote good relations between persons of different racial groups, working towards the elimination of discrimination on the grounds of race.

 

Bringing women together is a powerful way to cultivate healing and growth. With a core value of intersectionality, we believe that when women are collectively empowered to succeed on our own terms, with the skills, support and resources to overcome the prejudice we face, we will dismantle social and power structures that hold us back as a global society.
