Hi everyone, I'm Olivia - artist @oliviahuntingford and founder of @londonmakersmarket
After visiting and selling at markets, and running Christmas pop ups around London, I set about creating a platform to further help the brilliant makers and small businesses that I had met along the way. 
London Makers Market was born just before the first lockdown and has now showcased and supported over 500 independent businesses through online and physical markets. It is such a rewarding experience as the community is fantastic and everyone shares a common interest of helping others and supporting small. With a drive for shopping as eco-consciously as possible, it is a great way for customers to discover beautiful hand made products which are less harmful to the planet. 
This Autumn we will also be hosting Tuesday evening workshops with different creatives in Battersea. From candle making to calligraphy, there are lots of workshops to choose from, and fun events to attend.
Alongside hosting markets and workshops, I love to draw. There is something very personal and gratifying about making something for someone else which is completely unique to them. I mostly concentrate on commission drawings of pets, houses, cars and other subjects, and sell a selection of t-shirts, cards and personalised prints using my own designs.
