Go Inspire UK is a women founded charity with the purpose of bringing women together to to grow and thrive. We believe that the world will be a better place when all women are supported to become the best versions of ourselves, and that this will allow us to better challenge the discrimination we face.

We do this by creating community centres for women, delivering education through our events and media platform and creating a resource hub to connect women to all the information and support they need.

Job Description 

You will work alongside the CEO and COO to develop a successful funding strategy and execute it.

Regular activities and responsibilities will look like:

  • Typical responsibilities include: approaching businesses, local authorities, trusts and individuals to secure funding. organising and helping with fundraising activities such as sponsored or promotional events, house-to-house and street collections. recruiting volunteers and coordinating their work.

  •  Manage, support and develop imaginative fundraising activities, some of which will be events-based

  •  Contribute to bid writing for grant/trust applications

  •  Inspire new supporters to raise money, while maintaining and developing relationships with existing supporters

  • Deliver presentations to interested groups and to attend events including cheque presentations

  • Develop and broaden corporate support

  • Develop and coordinate web-based fundraising including social media

About you 

  • Ability to plan and manage own time and work load
  • Ability to set and work to goals and targets
  • A flexible and strategic mindset
  • Ability to network
  • Ability to work with a wide range of people including volunteers
  • Good communication skills (flexible, clear, concise) and an ability to promote NSPF in the community
  •  Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
  •  Excellent presentation skills
