Im Rachel Mason, Im the founder of Our Remedy, we’re a wellness brand focused on sustainably packaged natural remedies for sleep, periods and anxiety.
Our remedy all started when I went through some serious health issues; I had cancer cells on my ovaries, a full hysterectomy and was forced into the menopause… all by the age of 30.
Facing major surgery that will mean you can’t have more children and will be old before your time is frightening. I was anxious, stressed and couldn’t sleep.
The only thing out there for me were antidepressants, mood altering medication… and wine! None of them being good long term solutions. And then someone suggested I try CBD oil. I was skeptical at first but within 2 weeks, it made such a difference to my sleep and anxiety.
However I noticed 3 things. It didn’t taste nice, I didn’t know if it was the right one for me and I was throwing away lots of plastic pipettes.
I thought I could probably create my own CBD that tasted nice, was focused on women’s health and most importantly was plastic free.
And Our Remedy was born!
We’re the UKs first totally plastic free CBD oil brand, we invented a plastic free pipette! We use non toxic veg ink to print, ship in compostable mailers and only use recycled material for our boxes. We also donate for every product sold to Bloody Good Period, which is the UKs leading period poverty charity.
